Why so many many narrow twitsting corridors? (House at CP2, at CP3, etc)

I went up here to the balcony and expected to be able to shoot out thru the windows, but it was a dead end and death trap

I like the access to the higher ledge here via barrels,even if it's very risky for the person going up

if you can connect the two spawn together, then the last point might be a little easier to defend

blue has to do a 200 degree turn to get up this easy exit towards 2nd from spawn, its annoying and confusing

The houses are really LARGE compared to the player models, but the corridors inside feel extremely narrow, also: dead ends

the wood textures in house at CP3 make it hard to see were a corridor or edge starts or ends.

All those long narrow, right-angel upstairs corridors in the house at CP3 are weird design choice.
