As is, the point is so far away that you have to split the team between defending and pushing while the enemy comes full force at you. Perhaps if capping the point regained a bit of generator health the risk of pushing for the point would be worth it. Maybe separate it into 3 blocks of health, and after 10 seconds of no damage it slowly recovers hp to that level. Eg: If the enemy gets it down to 70% hp and are fought off, after 10 seconds it slowly heals back to 100% but can be interrupted any time by being damaged again. If the enemy brings it down to 60%, most of the damage is permanent and it can only recover back up to 66%. Perhaps if the point only weakened the shield, making it turn off periodically instead of it always being off or there were some sort of physical barrier that attackers need to time their attacks to get past, that could slow it down enough to make pushing viable.

I think Generator Destruction is extremely flawed as a gamemode and restricts desinging a layout.
