these openings are barely wide enough for people to fit through them, so you get stuck on them when approaching at an angle

I'd suggest giving the water areas an ammo pack to make then more interesting.

a lot of your overlays are stretched and skewed and it looks ugly

Opinion: not alot of players are going thru upper path. Maybe make it faster to get up there (like move the ramp)
